Due to increasing regulations or out right ban of gas operated RC boats in public lakes and ponds, grudgingly I swap my jet boat from 4stroke gas to electric power plant... View attachment 2440 this to View attachment 2441 . At first I was going to use three 5A 12v jell cells but opted to use or incorporate the 18v cordless system which allows me to continue and use the cordless tools and now the boat also. I already had a 0-40v Panasonic DC motor so I tied in two of the 18v power... The power conversion [...]

Pro-Line just released this sneak-peek shot of their soon-to-be-revealed Blockbuster body, which appears to have a decidedly squared-off, military vibe going for it. And something is up with the cab area… Expect to see the complete design very soon, we’ll share it as soon as we see it.Click to expand... When I reviewed the Pro-Line PRO-2 for the cover story of our February issue I raved about the truck’s stability in the open desert, and how that composure led to me drive aggressively on the racetrack as well. My SoCal cohort Joel Navarro and I have logged plenty of race time with our PRO-2 test truck since the review, and though the tremendous traction is terrific we both often wish for a bit more steering...Click to expand... Just wanted to show you guys what a few parts and couple of minutes can do to a street tuned Jato out of the box. First of all the Jato is a RWD Stadium truck with rockets out of the box for speed. Comes with Anaconda street tires a level suspension and about 1.5" of ground clearance. Keep this in mind when you look at the jato with some off road tuning. (PS: I am ordering a 20t CB for the stock 54t and keeping its 2 speed Tranny, Due to high speed driving and its ability to fly over... Off-Road Jato 3.3 [...]

View attachment 2281 Well... Yes it does need a little help! But... I'm finally working on it and determined to get it finished. I'm done with the "Spend" phase and just getting started on the "Cut and Drill" phase. Then all I have left is the "Wire & Solder" phase and I'm ready to go. I've been collecting this stuff for almost a year. I think it's time I get serious about putting it all together. I figured if I started a build thread, I'd feel committed to finish it. Once... Two new vehicles that rolled across our desks this week came from two very well-established nitro racing manufacturers – which is why it was surprising that both were electric. Actually, the Mugen Seiki MBX7T ECO isn’t too big of a surprise, since it’s a follow-up on both the nitro-powered truck based on the current IFMAR World Champion MBX7 and the popular MBX6T ECO that preceded it, but current 1/8-scale on-road World Champion Serpent’s choice to convert their successful 200mm nitro...Click to expand... Southern Oregon Robotics Club will be holding its monthly meeting today (04/12/14) at the Grants Pass Public Library (200 NW "C" Street). This will be our first meeting at the library. In order to get this location, we had to change our meeting time a little. Meetings will now be from 4:00PM to 5:30PM. Since the library is closed at this time, entrance will be from the parking lot at the rear of the building. We will post a sign on the door that should be used to enter. Since the meetings...
